Route planning
Floor scrubber coverage calculator
Estimate realistic cleaning time by discounting theoretical productivity for overlap, turns, refills and obstacles.
Why practical coverage differs from the brochure
Theoretical coverage multiplies cleaning width by travel speed. A real route loses productive time to overlap, turns, obstacles, traffic, refilling, recovery-tank dumping and travel between zones. The efficiency setting applies a transparent discount so the estimate can reflect the building rather than an uninterrupted test lane.
Use the conservative setting for congested rooms, frequent doorways or routes with many stops. The open-route setting is more appropriate for repeatable warehouse lanes with limited obstruction. After the machine is in service, record complete route time—including setup and cleanup—and replace the planning assumption with observed data. Cleaning quality and safe control remain more important than maximizing travel speed.
