Tile Floor Scrubbers
Choose a floor scrubber for ceramic, porcelain and resilient tile by surface texture, grout depth, brush action and water recovery.
The grout line changes the job
A flat pad contacts tile faces well but may bridge recessed grout. A suitable brush can reach texture more effectively, though stiffness must be compatible with the tile, grout and sealer.
Uneven tile can also break the squeegee seal. Slower passes, clean blades and the correct blade material may improve pickup, but damaged grout or lippage still needs special attention.
Protect the finish and the public
Glazed, polished and specialty tiles can be scratched by trapped grit or aggressive tools. Sweep carefully and test the least aggressive method that meets the cleaning goal.
Use wet-floor controls until the route is dry. A scrubber reduces residual water when adjusted correctly; it does not eliminate slip risk.
